Building and Permit Process

Understanding the Building Process: From First Estimate to Completion
- Onsite Estimates
- Every project begins with an on-site estimate to ensure all details are tailored to your expectations.
- Contract and Deposit
- Once the estimate has been reviewed and approved, we provide a formal contract outlining the scope of work and any required deposit.
- Permitting and HOA Approvals
- Our team assists with all HOA applications and approvals, including required site plans, material lists, scope of work, and preliminary drawings.
- All permitting and associated forms are the responsibility of the contractor. Your project will be designed and engineered to meet building code and permitting requirements. Please be aware that approval timelines depend on local permitting and HOA guidelines.
- Foundation Work
- Once permitting is obtained, and if a foundation is required, we begin with site excavation. Concrete footings are installed first, followed by the foundation base, which may consist of a concrete slab or pavers.
- Structure Installation
- We then proceed with the installation of your enclosure. Timelines vary depending on project size and weather conditions. We keep you updated on progress and any scheduling adjustments throughout the process.
- Project Completion
- Upon completion, our team conducts a formal walkthrough with you to review the installation, answer any questions, and ensure a full cleanup. A final inspection by the building department is required to close your permit—our team will schedule this for you.
